After working closely with Birmingham Chamber of Commerce, BAL Group’s bankers and focussing on website and social media platform performance, BAL group can confirm in 2025 it increased its export sales to the thermal management market for both aluminium heatsinks and copper busbars by 300%. This positive trend continues in 2026.
During 2024 the company consulted the Chamber and was advised to extend the reach of its website, by allowing potential customers to access it in seven different languages, thereby increasing accessibility for prospective customers across Europe.
This, in conjunction with Bal Group’s growing markets in English speaking countries in North America, Australia and New Zealand contributed to the significant increase in export sales.
In response to feedback from several new export customers, BAL Group has also undertaken a substantial financial commitment to increase its range of aluminium heatsinks and to carry stock, particularly of the larger aluminium heatsinks and corrugated heatsinks, that meet the requirements of these particular customers.
Steve Kane, Managing Director of BAL Group explains, “The company is fully focused on ensuring we continue to listen to our customers as this has created the opportunity for its growth.”
He continues, “We fully expect this growth trend to continue as supply chains from the far East become more difficult to manage.”
